What’s Included

This is a general list of the items that are typically included and not included in the price of your safari.  These occasionally vary, so please consult your personal quotation.

What’s Included

Internal Flights:
We have included all the flights within Tanzania in your pricing.

Transfers to and from all airports and hotels or camps are included in the cost.

All accommodation while in Tanzania are included.

All of your meals throughout your itinerary with us are included.

Park Fees:
All applicable park fees are included in the cost.

Alcoholic Beverages at our Properties:
All of your beverages, including alcoholic beverages (but excluding premium imported liquors), are included during your stay at our properties.

Daily Laundry Service at our Properties:
Free daily laundry service is provided at each of our properties.


What’s NOT Included

Some Beverages and Services:
Premium imported liquor and cigars, alcoholic beverages and laundry at hotels and lodges we do not own (for example, in Arusha, at Ngorongoro, or at Mahale).

Optional services and excursions:
PADI diving, water skiing, fishing excursions, boat rental and spa services are extra.

Travel Insurance:
We advise you to take out fully comprehensive travel insurance (not included) and travel with a copy of your health insurance.  We strongly recommend medical evacuation insurance which can be obtained from travel insurance companies for a nominal charge.

There is a visa cost of $50 per person and $100 for American citizens, payable on arrival in Tanzania.

We recommend $20 per guest per day in camps and on the island (depending on the quality of the service you receive)

International Flights:
You are responsible for booking your flight to and from Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO).
